Game Demonstrator with Godot Engine

Manual for players
Goal
Propose a small game based on facts & scientifically observed or simulated data
Raise awareness about climate change & good practices

Requirements
Player needs to use a Web Browser supporting WebAssembly and WebGL 2.0. There is no minimal hardware requirement as the game as very minimal needs by modern standards.
How to play?
You are an environmental preservation agent in charge of climate & ecology management. Your goal is to slow down climate change by reducing temperature to stay around +2°C.
The game starts in 2020 and ends in 2100, in steps of 20 years. At each step you can learn things about nature and the climate in your scene by clicking on the different points of interest.
The more the game will advance in time, the more the temperature, CO2 emissions and sea level will increase. Your role will be to choose the right actions at each step to slow down this increase as much as possible!
At the end of the game, depending on the temperature reached in 2100, you will see if you won or lost and what IPCC trajectory you took!
Data sources
This game is based on several data sources:
World map: OpenStreetMap
Pixel types: Copernicus Land Cover
Elevation: EarthDataHub: Copernicus DEM Model UTM (from DESP)
Geoserver: FAO Catalog: Major rivers of the world
Precipitations & local temperature: Copernicus CDS ERA5 (from DESP via HDA)
Geoclimatic zone: Koppen-Gaggen algorithm
Satellite images: Copernicus Sentinel-2 images
Projections: IPCC models
